KUTA
Kuta is the original resort town that brought tourism to Bali in the first place. Kuta happens to be the closest area to the main airport, making it the best area for tourists who only have a short time and would like a private pool villa in Bali and to be on the beach as quickly as possible after landing at the airport. Kuta is also one of the best places for surfing lessons if you can tear yourself away from your Bali villa with a private pool for a day on the beach. Kuta definitely has a party atmosphere, so it’s not necessarily the most family-friendly place to stay in Bali.
SEMINYAK
Just north of Kuta is Seminyak, Bali’s entertainment center. Where Kuta caters to the budget-friendly backpacking crowd and is one of the best places to find a cheap Bali villa with a private pool, Seminyak has more upscale accommodations and attractions to offer people looking for a Bali villa with a private pool and jacuzzi. CANGGU

JIMBARAN
Jimbaran has a unique combination of luxury resorts within an authentic local community. It’s a great area to relax, have a seafood dinner on the beach, visit the local markets, and spend the day at the beach. It is also not as crowded as Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, and Ubud, making Jimbaran the perfect relaxing destination for couples and families. And since it’s located pretty close to the airport, no wonder Jimbaran is very popular as one of the tourist destinations in Bali.
2. Read the honest Bali villa review
Every time I see the pictures of Bali villa on OTA, it all seems to be perfect. I’ve even gotten more confused when knowing every Bali villa has an almost perfect review. It takes time for me to find out which OTA has accurate reviews and which doesn’t. I usually trust the review from booking.com meanwhile I avoided OTA like agoda.com. Based on my experience, their review doesn’t reflect the real situation of an accommodation and they gave a higher score than it should be.
Another way to get an honest review about Bali villa is by reading blogs written by travel bloggers. I prefer spending time digging into every travel blog cause I know they write better reviews. Reading news about Bali villas and Google reviews also can help you decide which Bali villa you should stay in.
Not long ago, I and my husband wanted to spend a weekend away from home. We then decided to look for a Bali villa with a private pool in the Seminyak area. My choice fell into Cyrus Villa since this accommodation has good reviews on Google and on the news. The review and news didn’t disappoint us, we had a great experience staying in Cyrus Villa. I’ll share with you our experience…
Nestled in a corner of the Seminyak area, Bali’s entertainment hub is Cyrus Villa. It’s hard not to notice the establishment with its striking orange and terracotta exterior. When I arrived in their lobby, I was immediately impressed with its concept & interior design. It made me feel as if I was being transported to Morroco, where they took the inspiration for the Bali villa. The receptionist welcomed us friendly and then served us a welcome drink. The Bali villa Seminyak itself is located behind the beautifully intricated door as you can see in the picture above. We then were ushered to our Bali villa, one of 10 warm luxury spaces in Cyrus Villa.
When I opened the door, I knew that I would have a spectacular babymoon here. The Bali villa with a private pool was very fabulous! How could I say it, it’s the most lovely Bali villa I’ve ever stayed in. Each part of the Bali villa is decorated in Morrocan style, from the arched door, the orange sofa in the living room, and its arched window & mirror.
Meanwhile the bedroom itself, on the mezzanine floor, has a mix of tropical nuance and Morrocan style. I also love that they combined the ethnic concept with technology. Similar to other iNi Vie Hospitality villas, the bedroom in Cyrus Villa is equipped with Alexa, a tablet, and Netflix. It is just in this Bali villa we were using a projector to watch a movie on Netflix instead of on a TV. Oh, they also left me a very sweet note on the night when we went out of the Bali villa to explore Seminyak, very cute…
As the pool itself, looks so pretty… it would be a waste of opportunity if I didn’t dip into the water and swim. Meanwhile, my husband loved its outdoor tub, thus he spent the afternoon and the next morning soaking in it.
The charming pool became our central activity in the Bali villa. We had a floating breakfast the next morning and chilled before leaving one of the best Seminyak villas we’ve ever stayed in.

3. Book using trustworthy website
I recommend you book the Bali villa with booking.com. I always use them and never experience issues. They have special deals for Genius members and sometimes even give free credits to their loyal customers. The other website you could use is Airbnb.
